ICU Technician responsibilities:
- Record medical data thoroughly and accurately and complete treatments in a timely manner
- Uphold ICU policies and protocols and perform all other related duties as required
- Partake in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and stabilization of critical patients
- Maintain a clean, dry and comfortable environment for all patients at all times
- Continuous and diligent monitoring of critical and intensive care patients
- Manage sedation and anesthesia in a variety of critical patient settings
- Placement and maintenance of central, peripheral intravenous, and arterial lines
- Placement and maintenance of urinary catheters and nasogastric and nasoesophageal tubes
- Management of thoracostomy, tracheostomy and other indwelling tubes
- Administration of blood component therapy, and all aspects of fluid therapy
- Calculation and monitoring of continuous rate infusions
- Care of the mechanically ventilated patient where needed
About you:
- Certified technician: minimum of 2 years in an ICU setting or 5+ years as a technician
- Team oriented

- Ability to communicate with clients and all members of the veterinary team

Schedule:
- day shifts
Salary:
- $23/hr - $34/hr depending on skills, experience, and credentials
