Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care is the only 24/7 animal hospital in Las Vegas with access to specialties in surgery, cardiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, neurology, oncology, and rehabilitation. About the job: This position works under general supervision, following established procedures to ensure clients receive efficient and courteous service, client disputes and problems are researched and resolved within established guidelines, and acts as a liaison between the client and various departments.

How you'll make a difference:
  • Provide professional client communication
  • Check-in clients for scheduled appointments, scheduling appointments, answer incoming calls, directing to appropriate department, answering questions to basic questions
  • Processing financial payments and estimate reviews
  • Helps keep hospital areas clean and neat, maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Maintains client and patient confidentiality
  • Meet or exceed performance standards for work quality and productivity
  • Meet or exceed LVVSC/VECC expectations for attendance and punctuality
  • Act as an ambassador of LVVSC/VECC at all times, displaying consideration, courtesy, compassion, and professionalism

What you will bring:
  • Experience working within a veterinary hospital for 1+ years; also open to consider those with a positive attitude and customer service background
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community we serve
  • Reliable, organized, and committed to provide high level care to our patients and clients
  • A craving for lifelong learning and continuous improvements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected
  • Honesty, integrity, and a desire to have fun!

Schedule: 
  • VECC Saturday through Monday day shift: 7:00am-7:00pm (12hr)
  • VECC Friday through Sunday overnight shift: 6:00pm-6:00am (12hr)
  • LVVSC Monday through Friday day shift: 6:30am-3:00 pm (8hr)
  • LVVSC Monday through Friday day shift: 8:30am-5:00 pm (8hr)

Salary: $17 / hour or more based on experience
